RangeSlider selects a [start, end] range. A press on the track brings the nearer thumb to your finger and drags it. The two thumbs never cross, and minDistance keeps them apart. Each thumb is its own adjustable element for screen readers, bounded by the other one. See the web RangeSlider for the browser version.
Without value the range starts at defaultValue, or the whole track.
Pass value and onChange to own the range. onChange always gets the start first. minDistance is the smallest gap the thumbs keep.
- Drags go through a PanResponder on the track. When both thumbs sit on the same value, the first move decides which one moves, as on the web.
- There is no name prop and no hidden inputs, since React Native has no forms. Read the range from onChange.
- Screen readers move a thumb with the increment and decrement actions instead of the arrow, Page and Home/End keys.
- RangeSlider does not take Flex props. Use style for the outer view.
