Not released yet. This is on main and is not in any published version yet. It will not install today.

StatusIndicator is a round dot in the 700 step of a color scheme, such as green for online or red for an error. It extends Flex props, so margin and positioning work as on any Flex. See the web StatusIndicator page for the web version.

Sizes

size is s (the 4 step), m (the 8 step) or l (the 16 step).

Colors

color takes any of the color schemes, from blue to cyan, or gray. scheme is core 3.0's name for the same prop; it works too and wins when both are set.

Differences from the web

  • Takes scheme as well as color, ahead of core 3.0.
  • Screen readers read it as an image labelled ariaLabel, or "green status indicator" and so on by default. Give it a label that says what the status means.

API reference

StatusIndicator extends Flex props, so margin, position and the rest apply.
